You have the option to request that we hold your order so you can combine shipping for up to 10 days to reduce your total shipping cost. You can choose this option with every order placed during this time when checking out and adding to your order.
If you choose this option, all orders will be combined automatically until you confirm you are ready to ship, and after 10 days your only option will be Ship my order immediately. With each order submitted you will receive the current status of your combined order by email.
You can confirm your order at any time using the link sent in your order email or the "Confirm order" option in your account. When you submit an order to be combined this option may be momentarily unavailable while we process additional items onto order.
Shipping options
Please note, while we generally are able to ship an order the day it is received, we have seen significant delays with our acceptance scans and delivery times with the Post Office.
The USPS website states: "USPS products and packages may require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 impacts."
Please be aware of these delays as you choose this service and bear with us as we have no control over these Post Office delays.
Media Mail in particular has seen acceptance scan delays of up to 20 days and delivery delays of 4-6 weeks.
If you need your order in a timely manner we suggest you switch to a FedEx service that suits your delivery needs.
Delivery times start on the day we ship the order, not necessarily on the day we receive the order.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes is available through USPS and not available through FedEx.
International shipments may be subject to customs duties (tariffs, taxes) upon arriving in the destination country. Unfortunately, we have no way of predicting these charges since they differ by country. These charges are a matter between you and your government. As a citizen of your country importing foreign goods (importer of record), you yourself are responsible for such charges. Further information about customs charges may be obtained from your local customs office.
Any postage price you pay us covers the full cost of shipping goods to you. However we have heard of some local customs offices assessing a "handling fee" in addition to customs charges for shipment irregularities that then get billed to the recipient. We have no control over local handling fees and the matter is between you and your government.
As a commercial institution we cannot list retail goods as a "gift" on customs forms. Even if you are giving items in your order to someone as a gift you have still paid us for these goods.
We do our best to accommodate specific shipping and handling requests where possible. If you would like your vinyl records removed from their sleeves to deter seam splits, or want to omit paper printed invoices please leave a note under "Special instructions" during checkout.
Our order processing service automatically combines multiple online orders shipped to the same address and placed within 24 hours of submission into one consolidated package in an effort to reduce overall shipping costs.
If you want to have us ship certain items in separate packages (for example, to contain the costs of customs, duties, VAT, etc.) please wait for your current order to ship before placing subsequent orders. Unfortunately special instructions or emails to the order department about selective order combination cannot be accommodated, as our order department cannot disassemble orders that have automatically been consolidated.
Similarly, we are not able to remove items from your order based on conditional instructions such as, "Only include if catalog number is SD 1311." Instead, please contact us at dg@dustygroove.com before placing orders for any items where you require specific information to purchase.
