All orders are placed online. Click the "Add to cart" button next to an item and it will be added to your cart. You can checkout from the cart or from your account screen. If you have an open order pending shipment you can click the "Add to order" button and the item will be combined with your other items.
All orders placed on the website are considered final.
You can place an order online and pickup your items at the pickup window on the side of our Chicago store 9am–6pm daily.

Pickup orders are placed like any other online order using your shopping card and then checking out, but instead of specifying a shipping address choose the option "Pickup order at our Chicago store".
You can authorize someone to collect your items on your behalf by selecting "Pickup authorization" during checkout if you are not able to visit the store yourself. You (or the person you authorize) will be asked to provide a valid picture ID at the time of pickup for us to release the merchandise that you have previously purchased.
Pickup orders are processed and paid for like any other order. Pickup orders are held in our Chicago store and can be picked up at the pickup window on the side of our Chicago store (on Haddon Street) 9am–6pm daily. Orders must be picked up within 30 days; unclaimed orders will be canceled automatically after 30 days.
We accept Visa, American Express, Mastercard, and Discover debit and credit cards. An accurate billing zip code and CVV number is required when you submit your card. Please ensure your card is not revoked, canceled, locked, restricted from making purchases, or not yet activated. Otherwise your card may be declined and your order will be rejected or canceled.
Dusty Groove gift certificates can be used for any in-store or online purchase. We do not currently accept any other forms of payment online.
The website uses the latest standard transport layer security (TLS) to keep all of your information secure when shopping at Dusty Groove. For details see the Dusty Groove privacy & security policy.
All orders placed on the website are considered final, as our automated system does not permit removing individual items from orders once submitted.
Orders are processed as quickly as possible, generally within 24 hours after we receive them. All items are listed in inventory as they are received from our suppliers and are available (on or after street-date for new releases) to order online or purchase in-person at our Chicago warehouse. If an item is listed as in-stock, you don't have to wait for us to take delivery from our supplier for your order to be completed.
In the uncommon circumstance that a rare item has just sold out and we cannot add it to your order, we well send you an email letting you know that the item is no longer available and arrange to send you an in-stock email notice next time we have it available for purchase.
Unfortunately we cannot take pre-payments for items that are not in stock, nor do we accept automated backorder requests, because releases may vary by pressing, distribution, mastering, and condition in the case of used items. As such it is in your interest to review the specific item's description and any notes associated with it before ordering.
