$6.99 ...

LP, Vinyl record album

(€5.87 || £5.22 || ¥777) (approx.)

It's the third volume, but there's still plenty of hits left – thanks to the legendary 60s run of Diana Ross & The Supremes at Motown! Arrangers include Henry Cosby, Paul Riser, and Wade Marcus – and most of the tracks are from the later years of the original trio – with titles that include "Reflections", "Love Child", "The Happening", "I'm Livin In Shame", "No Matter What Sign You Are", "The Composer", "Forever Came Today", and "Love Is Here & Now You're Gone". (Original pressing.)  © 1996-2017, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Near Mint - (minus)

  • Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
  • Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
  • One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so. These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play, but might detract from the looks.
  • May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record. (Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
  • May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
  • Possible minor surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

A monster! Greatest Hits
Motown, 1978. Near Mint-
A well-timed Greatest Hits set for The Commodores – because it came out in 1978, and captures the group at their best early prime! This is the second of two live albums that Marvin Gaye cut during the 70s – and in many ways, it's the better one! A wild 70s compilation from Japan – featuring some of the clubbier work of the time on Motown – with cuts by Edwin Starr, Diana Ross, Commodores, Stevie Wonder, The Miracles, Jackson Five, and Eddie Kendricks! Motown, 1960s/1970s. Sealed
Unreleased gems from Marvin Gaye's Motown years – issued after his death in something of a cash-in effort, but a pretty great little record overall! Jermaine didn't really hit his stride making up tempo bass heavy funk until Let's Get Serious, which followed this album a few years later, but this set has a few moments that are stretching towards that high water mark in his career. One of the greatest Supremes albums of the 70s – a rare live Japanese session that wasn't even issued in the US at the time!
