Greatest Hits Volume 3

LP (Item 476757) Motown, 1960s — Condition: Sealed
It's the third volume, but there's still plenty of hits left – thanks to the legendary 60s run of Diana Ross & The Supremes at Motown! Arrangers include Henry Cosby, Paul Riser, and Wade Marcus – and most of the tracks are from the later years of the original trio – with titles that include "Reflections", "Love Child", "The Happening", "I'm Livin In Shame", "No Matter What Sign You Are", "The Composer", "Forever Came Today", and "Love Is Here & Now You're Gone".  © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Sealed reissue pressing. Cover has a cutout notch.)

Sealed

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Diana Ross in the sweet clubby 70s – working here in a set of upbeat groovers that really show off her talents as a disco diva! Diana & Marvin
Motown, 1973. Near Mint-
A surprisingly nice album – even if you're not a fan of Diana Ross! In My Stride
Motown, 1977. Very Good+
Later Motown work from David Ruffin, but still pretty darn great – thanks to vocals that rise to the top, no matter what the tune! A stone classic from that great early 80s run by DeBarge – that time when they were really reinventing the group soul sound for a new generation, finding a way to bring back older sweet soul modes, but with a very different twist!
