"Computer Game" is one of the best early singles from this famous Japanese combo. The cut's got plenty of electronics, as expected, but it's also got a wonderfully soulful groove – with some Barry White-esque strings that provide a nice degree of warmth, and help the cut hit a strong crossover audience. Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Expansion (UK), 1980/1985. Near Mint-
Totally cool UK 12" reissue single that includes this excellent, much-sampled, and very sought-after track by Sylvia Striplin. Even if you don't know it, you'll recognize the sample in the intro, and believe us, the rest of the track more than lives up to the first 10 seconds! It's got sweet ... 12-inch, Vinyl record

Le Joint, 1979. Very Good+
Nice lost club track featuring this gutsy disco diva (wasn't she actually someone else under another name?) The vocal version has a good hard groove, and the flip's got a nice instrumental version with some cool electric piano solos. 12-inch, Vinyl record

Tobago, Early 80s. Very Good
Stunning club classic from Donna McGhee! Excellent deep dancefloor groove, and sweet soulful vocals that never let up. The track has a Roy Ayers club flourish – with riffing keyboards around the vocals, and a boogied-up groove that's perfect on just about any dancefloor! 12-inch, Vinyl record
