This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
A real standout from Polly Jean Harvey – a set that somehow manages to have all the intensity of her previous records, but which hones things down to a mode that might well be called mellow at times – but which, to us, also seems to really give the music clarity, and maybe a more ... CD
Godlike work from the legendary Nick Drake – and exactly the kind of record that's made him a continuing legend over the years! The style is completely its own – not really folk or rock, but not really jazz either – yet served up with plenty of jazzy phrasing that's helped keep ... CD
One of the last couple of great records Waits made for Island, and a defining moment in his career! Leave it to Waits to cut a bunch of songs that wrestle with mortality and the fleeting nature of life head on, but have as much fun with it as he does worry or mourn. It's got some rumbling raw ... CD
A creative left turn for Waits – written for an ambitious theatrical project, which to a certain degree takes him into surprising new territory and is all the more exciting for it – but still comes through as great late Island-era Tom Waits album in its own light! The Black Rider stage ... CD
A fantastic assemblage of Brit folk/rock giants – with a strong Fairport Convention vibe, but maybe a bit more electricity too! Richard Thompson plays electric guitar, Barry Dransfield plays acoustic and fiddle, John Kirkpatrick plays various accordions and harmonium, Dave Mattacks drums, ... CD
One of John Cale's greatest moments as a solo artist – a wonderfully dark record that also features lots of great guitar from Chris Spedding, plus electronics from Brian Eno too! There's a stark, flat tone to Cale's lyrics here – a quality that almost echoes some of Eno's albums from ... CD
Titles include "When I Get To The Border", "We Sing Hallelujah", "The Great Valerio", "Down Where The Drunkards Roll", and "The Little Beggar Girl". CD
Early genius from this seminal duo! Titles include "Georgie On A Spree", "Old Man Inside A Young Man", "Smiffy's Glass Eye", "Never Again", and "Mole In A Hole". CD
The breakthrough classic – with titles that include "Two Hearts Beat As One", "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "New Year's Day", "40", "Surrender", "The Refugee", "Red Light", and "Seconds". CD
Still one of THE standout records of the post-punk years – the simple but effective dub statement of three London ladies with decidedly left wing politics! The record's in a format that would later be copped by dozens of groups – one that mixes together post-punk and heavy dub – ... CD
A record that's a real step forward for The Rolling Stones – a set that really marks the emergence of the Jagger/Richards team as a songwriting powerhouse for the 60s – and which has the group moving past bluesy roots into some nicely trippier territory at times! Everything from the ... CD
