Feels Good To Feel Good

CD (Item 537347) Motown, 1987 — Condition: Used
$11.99 ...

CD

An excellent mid 80s soul set from Garry Glenn – recorded for Motown, and sadly lost in the shuffle at the time. The record's a surprising gem – sophisticated, mature, and with a laidback quality that really gets past some of the cliches of 80s soul at the time. Garry's got a talent for songwriting and production that almost rival Leon Ware at the time – and even though the instrumentation has a bit of the tinniness of the times, the whole thing comes off with a wonderfully soulful quality – hitting all the right midtempo and mellow soul notes! Tracks are all originals, and titles include "Do You Have To Go", "Torch For You", "Running Away", "Feels Good To Feel Good", "Lonely Night", "Love Makes It Right", and "You Don't Even Know".  © 1996-2020, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD". This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer Used CDs in the best shape possible.

When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs — so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.

All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

Motown/Music On Vinyl (UK), 1969. Used
The first really major album from Rare Earth – issued on their own self-named subsidiary of Motown! The set's a perfect blend of the rich undercurrents of the heady Detroit scene of the late 60s – at one level a tripped-out rock record with styles that almost hint at MC5, at another ... CD

Motown, 1971. Used
One of the few cases in the history of pop music where the record is worth all the hype! Marvin blew everyone's mind when he unleashed this amazing suite of political soul tunes – not only just because he'd moved past the simple love songs of earlier years, but also because he was working ... CD
