This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

A great sense of righteousness and groove – the key mix that made the O'Jays so great back in the day – and which really helped put the Philly International enterprise on the map! The album's miles from the group's simple harmony soul roots – even though those were pretty darn ... CD
A masterpiece of modern soul that shows The O'Jays working in a style that would become their dominant mode for the next decade – not as upbeat and club-oriented as in the mid 70s years, with a sweet, sophisticated modern soul approach that really let the group grow stylistically. Mellow ... CD
Teddy Pendergrass and crew get a bit more political than on earlier releases, and adopt the righteous bubbling soul groove that had put the O'Jays over the top a few years earlier – with incredible results! The title cut – "Wake Up Everybody" – would prove to be a great ... CD
26 tracks from Clyde McPhatter's Atlantic albums Clyde and Love Ballads – a great mix of hard R&B numbers, and some mellower ballads that showcase Clyde's richly emotional style of singing, one that's on a par with his lead vocal work in The Drifters, and recorded here in a very similar ... CD
Classic heavy soul from Wilson – with some great production from Tommy Cogbill, and a nice raw southern sound. The record features 3 strong early Bobby Womack tracks – "I'm In Love", "Jealous Love", and "I've Come A Long Way" – plus Pickett's own ... CD
A compelling classic of raunchy blues – and a real standout in the indie scene of the 70s! The album features a very unique first side – one that's almost a party record at points, as Chick Willis runs through a live 21 minute take on the title tune – complete with some very ... CD
Perhaps Donny Hathaway's greatest album from the 70s, and certainly the one with the most amazing arrangements! The record was Donny's last studio session, and it's got him working at a level that's far advanced from even his groundbreaking earlier work – using complicated rhythms and ... CD
2 of the best records ever by The Jackson 5! Diana Ross Presents is the fantastic first record from the Jacksons – who were totally great, even at this early stage of their career. Proof enough is their big hit, the always-wonderful "I Want You Back", one of those tunes that we've ... CD
