Beautiful sounds from the Triveni trio of trumpeter Avishai Cohen – and maybe the most freewheelingly creative record from the group so far! The recording approach was to only do a take or two of each tune – with some immediate post-performance electronics added by Cohen, as if he's working off the immediate spontaneity of the group's music – and you can definitely hear that approach as all three players have this open sense of imagination that really moves ahead into a rich field of sonic surprises. Cohen's electric touches could be stiff and too Miles-like – but instead they really help integrate his sound with the bass of Omer Avitel and drums of Nasheet Waits – and the record also features a bit of guest clarinet from Anat Cohen and piano from Gerald Clayton. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
