An excellent set that pulls together some of the rare recordings that Blossom cut for the tiny Daffodil Records label! The sides are some of Blossom's last great jazz recordings – and the set digs through the recordings to sift past some of the more cocktail-oriented material in the Daffodil years. Much of this stuff features Blossom alone, accompanying her sweet vocals on acoustic or electric piano – but a few other cuts feature some extra playing, like "Yardbird Suite", which includes tenor by Phil Woods, or "Baby, It's Cold Outside", done as a vocal duet with Bob Dorough! All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
