Hot on the heels of the very successful Batucada compilations on Mr. Bongo, Soul Jazz release this excellent double-length set of rare Brazilian percussion tracks dating from 1969 to 1978. The groove is very hard and percussive, with lots of very stripped-down playing, and a lot of instrumentation on berimbau, cuica, and other Brazilian instruments. Cuts include "Sao Bente Grande" by Mestre Bimba, "Samba Quente" by Luciano Perrone, "Ensaio De Escola" by Welcome To Rio, "Hora De Rezar" by Mestre Nago, and "Mistura #2" by Mestre Geraldo. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
