The first 2 classic LPs of avant noise and trippy psych from the linchpins of the late 60s Texas underground – Mayo Thompson and the mighty Red Crayola (or Krayola) – brought together on one CD! Parable Of Arable Land is the classic first album – a mind-blasting set of tracks that mixes (relatively) straighter songs with the group's trademark "free form freak outs". Absolutely essential to anyone with even the slightest affinity for the true psychedelic 60s! Titles include "Transparent Radiation" (an all time psychedelic classic), "War Sucks", "Former Reflections Enduring Doubt", and "Pink Stainless Tail" – and each track is separated by those amazingly influential freeform freakouts! God Bless. . . is the group's early masterpiece – a brilliant, jarring avant prog psychedelic work of genius! It's got the strangeness of the Parable LP, but Mayo & the boys have a way with strange melody that escaped the earlier album. It's often buried under the astral wierdness and abrasive tendancies, but it nevertheless casts a spooky glow throughout! All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
