Astounding 12 String Guitar Of Glen Campbell

LP (Item 600036) Capitol, Mid 60s — Condition: Very Good+
$5.99 ...

LP, Vinyl record album

(€5.25 || £4.50 || ¥597) (approx.)

Not vocals, but a very cool instrumental set from guitarist Glen Campbell – done along the lines of some of his uncredited session work of the time! Includes drums from Hal Blaine and Earl Palmer, too! (Cover has light surface wear, a small stain, and split bottom seam.)  © 1996-2016, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Reprise, 1969. Very Good
Creepy, strange and oddly beautiful late 60s eccentricity from Mort Shuman – a song writer and pivotal behind-the-scenes cat who's been credited for translating the Jacques Brel stuff that Scott Walker sung, as well as for bringing Brel to Broadway! Bearsville, 1970. Very Good
Todd Rundgren in all of his great early glory – a record that's filled with simple, honest pop tunes – and one that also takes on a few experimental touches as well – but only in ways that further the earnest charm at its heart! Myrrh, 1974. Near Mint-
Okay, we'll admit it, this is not the sort of record you're going to buy to listen to all the way through, unless you're into 70s Christian rock, which it's not the most terrible example of. For the rest of you, it does have a monster funky drum break, that's just ripe for sampling if that's your ... LP, Vinyl record album
