Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
An excellent single, featuring one of the group's best late tracks! "We Go A Long Way Back" is a smooth modern soul stepper – with a compressed harmony hook that's great, and a warm soul feel that's a lot more 70s sounding than some of the band's other output at the time! 12-inch, Vinyl record
A pretty catchy groover from Suzy Q – slightly cold, with a thumping dancefloor groove that's got some nice European touches! A bit quirky, but with a stomping approach that's compelling. 12-inch, Vinyl record
A strange but nice single! This one features the theme to the 70s TV special In Search Of – often concerned with tracking down unusual events and strange phenomena, in a kind of Chariots Of The Gods mode. The tune has a sweet disco TV groove – soaring along with a nice mix of strings, ... 12-inch, Vinyl record
2 tracks from the group's second album on Capitol – almost as nice as the first! "Imagination" follows very much in the territory of their hit "On The Beat" – stepping around the dancefloor with a very strong 80s groove that never gets too gimmicky or flat. "Ha ... 12-inch, Vinyl record
A slammin 80s groover from Weeks & Co – one of their best early cuts! The track cooks up the groove like a monster roller skating jam – using bass, keys, and a snapping approach to grab us right away – before the chanting chorus and main vocals come into the mix – and ... 12-inch, Vinyl record
Seminal 80s groove from one of the best second-generation acts on Salsoul! "Make Up Your Mind" is a catchy snapping track that wonderfully blends the electric and the soulful – with a heavy groove that just won't quit! 12-inch, Vinyl record
Patrick Adams really helps give Skipworth & Turner a groove on this one – a groove that's tight, midtempo, and stepping in a warm flourish of keyboards and beats! The cut's got a great hook that keeps on going long after the tune stops – and although it's somewhat of a pop number, ... 12-inch, Vinyl record
One of the first hip hop singles that really made the crossover to dancefloor play. By this point, everyone's heard the sample three million times, but it's still holds up better than most of the uptempo cuts from that era. 12-inch, Vinyl record
