An incredible debut from the team of Alceu Valenca & Geraldo Azevedo – Brazilian songwriters and vocalists, working here with arrangements and production from the legendary Rogerio Duprat! Duprat's style for the record is somewhat similar to his Tropicalia work – particularly in the way that he mixes the fragile, intimate vocal approach of the pair with some oddly-tuned horn bits, earthy percussion, and occasionally sweeping modes that help the tunes drift along on a gentle cloud of darkness. There's a simple, subtle poetry to the whole record – a quality that's not as trippy or experimental as Tropicalia work, but no less compelling – and very much in the spirit of the more introspective Minas Geraes generation. - May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
- May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
