At the time of the set, David Seville and his Chipmunks were almost just a one-off novelty act for 50s AM radio – but this album forever cemented their place in the musical history books – not to mention around the Christmas tree! The gimmick is simple, but effective – as Seville uses sped up tape to create the sound of singing cartcoony chipmunks – deconstructing Holiday tunes along the way with a variety of gags, tricks, and mischief. Seville himself plays host to the set, often getting in fights with Chipmunk Alvin – which is some of the biggest charm of the recordings. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
