Phil Manzanera/801Listen Now ... LP
Polydor (UK), 1977. Very Good+ ... Just Sold Out!
Quite possibly the best of the solo Phil Manzanera projects – a wonderfully tight album that's surprisingly soulful and funky at times! Phil gets some great studio help from Eno and Godley & Creme – the latter two of who can really be felt on the record's well-penned lyrical numbers – sung by Simon Ainley with these great compressed vocals! LP, Vinyl record album
(US Polydor pressing. Includes the printed inner sleeve. Cover has a corner bump and light surface wear & aging.)

Polydor, 1976. Near Mint- ... $24.99
A brilliant post-Roxy Music project – odd rhythms from Phil Manzanera, Fender Rhodes from Francis Monkman, and some great electronics, tapes, and vocals from Brian Eno! Includes versions of "Third Uncle", "Miss Shapiro", "Baby's On Fire", and "Sombre Reptiles". LP, Vinyl record album
(Japanese pressing – MPF 1101. Includes insert. Cover has a few small corner bumps, but looks great overall.)

Blueprint/EG (UK), 1975. Used ... Out Of Stock
Classic mid 70s art rock, with Roxy Music's Phil Manzanera, Matching Mole's Bill MacCormick, This Heat's Charles Hayward and Dave Jarrett, plus guest spots by Brian Eno and Ian MacCormick. This album is the only one issued by the short lived group, which by the time of this recording was basically a side project for all involved. Pretty much in line with the 801 LP and other similar projects of the time. 7 numbers in all: "Sol Caliente", "Trumpets With Motherhood", "Bargain Classics", "RFD", "Mummy Was An Asteroid, Dady Was A Small Nonstick Kitchen Utensil", "Trot" and "Rongwrong". CD
(Out of print.)
