A French group, but one who draw heavily from the hippest sounds of the American underground in recent years – especially some of the more soulful fusions on labels like Ropeadope and Blue Note, in the generation of Robert Glasper and Terrace Martin! There's a wide variety of rhythms going on here, but all nicely focused – with plenty of Fender Rhodes and other keyboards from Robin Notte at the helm of the group – plus alto and flute from Lucas Saint Ciricq, and trumpet from Alexandre Herichon – both instruments that are more tied to the rhythms at times, but break free with solos at others. Titles include "Stay Safe", "Free Your Mind", "Chaos", "What Is Necessary", "Takuya", and "Love Of Humanity". LP, Vinyl record album
