✨✧ Fleetwood MacFleetwood Mac (1975) ... LP
Reprise, 1975. New Copy (reissue)... Temporarily Out Of Stock
The album that brought the excellent, but heretofore underappreciated duo of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks into the band – and pretty much changed the fabric of 70s rock! Older fans of the Peter Green and Bob Welch Brit blues eras of Fleetwood Mac may have been in for a shock initially, but this really is one of the best unpretentious pop rock albums of the 70s – they didn't get as hugely popular as they did by luck – the songs, energy and chemistry are really perfect. We may even love this one more than Rumours, especially the deeper cuts that haven't been overplayed over the years. Includes "Monday Morning", "Blue Letter, "Rhiannon", "Say You Love Me", "Warm Ways", "Over My Head", "I'm So Afraid" and more. LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Peter GreenEnd Of The Game ... LP
Reprise, 1970. Near Mint- ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
A really fantastic solo album from guitar genius Peter Green – recorded right after he'd departed Fleetwood Mac, the band he helped found – and done in a freewheeling trippy style that's unlike anything recorded by that other group! Green's guitar is still unbelievably strong, but cast here as much in psychedelic modes as bluesy ones – and set up in this all-instrumental lineup that features Zoot Money on piano, Godfrey Maclean on percussion, Alex Dmochowski on bass, and Nick Buck on electric piano and organ! The album is very experimental – long instrumental tracks with lots of creative twists and turns – and titles include "Descending Scale", "The End Of The Game", "Burnt Foot", "Hidden Depth", and "Bottoms Up". LP, Vinyl record album
(Tan label stereo pressing with Artisan stamp. Cover has a cut corner and minimal wear.)

✨✧ Peter GreenIn The Skies ... LP
Sail, 1979. Very Good+ ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
A big comeback moment for Peter Green – really shining here as a lead act, at a time when his old group Fleetwood Mac had gone in a completely different direction! The guitar wizard is still amazing – and there's a shifting style from track to track, which includes a few instrumentals – making the album partly a great showcase for Green's always-inventive work on guitar, but also one for his surprisingly nice vocals too! The album marked a real return to the limelight for Green, and the first push to give him the sort of solo career he deserved for years to come – and it features help from Peter Bardens of Camel on some keyboards, and Snowy White on second guitar, sometimes sharing lead space on the record. Titles include "Tribal Dance", "In The Skies", "A Fool No More", "Proud Pinto", "Just For You", "Funky Chunk", "Apostle", "Seven Stars", and "Slabo Day". LP, Vinyl record album
(Cover has a cut corner.)

✨✧ Fleetwood MacMr Wonderful ... LP
Blue Horizon, 1968. Very Good+ Gatefold ... Out Of Stock
The cover image may look a bit sinister, but the album's a perfect early example of the genius of Fleetwood Mac during their heavy blues years – a non-nonsense approach to the music that still manages to move the whole genre forward from the styles of the mod generation! The legendary Peter Green is in amazing form on guitar – maybe not as experimental as on records to come, but already able to challenge his inspirations with razor-sharp dexterity and a real sense of feeling. The rest of the group features Mick Fleetwood on drums, John McVie on bass, and Jeremy Spencer on slide guitar and piano – and titles include the originals "Stop Messin Around", "Rollin Man", "Love That Burns", "Evenin Boogie", "Trying So Hard To Forget", and "Coming Home". LP, Vinyl record album
(Original UK stereo pressing! Cover has light wear, and a very light bit of pen – but overall this is a great copy.)

✨✧ Fleetwood MacPious Bird Of Good Omen ... LP
Blue Horizon (UK), 1969. Very Good+ ... Out Of Stock
The pious bird of good omen might well be the track "Albatross" here – nestled in the middle of the record, and a key sign that Fleetwood Mac were ready to break from their roots! But this is no heavy bird hanging around the group's neck – as the groundbreaking instrumental really set them free from their straight blues rock expressions, and is mixed here with a great range of material that really shows Peter Green and the group ready to take on the 70s. If you loved Green's blues guitar work on other records, don't worry – there's still plenty of it here – but the range of songs is great, and in addition to the amazing "Albatross", other tunes include the fantastic original version of "Black Magic Woman", plus "The Big Boat", "Rambling Pony", "Just The Blues", "Looking For Somebody", "Stop Messin Round", "The Sun Is Shining", "I Believe My Time Ain't Long", and "Coming Home". ✨✧ Fleetwood MacThen Play On ... CD
Reprise, Late 60s. Used ... Out Of Stock
Really incredible work from the early version of Fleetwood Mac – a set that has them moving past the straighter blues of their roots, but not yet in the smooth territory of later 70s fame – music that's awash in the mindblowing guitar work of Peter Green! The pacing and song structure is great – very fresh, and another example of the way that the group and their contemporaries used blues rock as this surprisingly strong springboard to quickly move into new and inventive territory of their own!
