Air Pocket

LP (Item 799619) Bearsville, 1980 — Condition: Very Good+
Just Sold Out!

LP, Vinyl record album

✈
❔
With a little bit of help from Todd Rundgren.
(Includes the printed inner sleeve. Cover has a cutout notch.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Todd Rundgren

Something/Anything?
Bearsville, 1972. Near Mint- 2LP Gatefold
Arguably one of the greatest pop albums of all time – a pure act of genius from Todd Rundgren, and one of the few cases in rock music where two records are actually better than one! The double-length set was Rundgren's third solo effort after the breakup of Nazz – but it's a broad step ... LP, Vinyl record album

How Men Are
Arista/Virgin, 1984. Very Good+
The last moment of greatness from Heaven 17 – and a set that continues the trend towards more soulful expression the group began with their previous record! John Mayall

Back To The Roots
Polydor, 1971. Near Mint- 2LP Gatefold
John Mayall's definitely getting back to his roots here – and he's also getting help from an all-star cast as well! Mayall's vocals and piano are in fine form – almost with a rough-edged Blues Breakers sort of vibe, but sometimes a bit funkier too – in ways that strongly show the ... LP, Vinyl record album

Atco, 1968. Near Mint-
The album that rocked a million dorm rooms back in the 60s – and for good reason, too – given that the title track is a side-long, totally jamming monster – the kind of track that was really revolutionary at the time, and which still has a hell of an impact all these many years ... London, 1968. Near Mint- Gatefold
British blues meets LA's Laurel Canyon – a trans-Atlantic (or is it Pacific?) blend that makes for one of John Mayall's most compelling albums of the 60s! The album was recorded after the breakup of the Blues Breakers group – but it still features strong support from Mick Taylor on ... LP, Vinyl record album

Rolling Stones

12 x 5
London, 1964. Very Good+
Essentially early Stones! 12 X 5 is The Rolling Stones at a very early, hard grooving peak, way back in '64.
