A sweet little collection of Ahmad's work for the 20th Century label – an oft-overlooked period, and one of his greatest! At the time, Ahmad was moving into a sweet R&B-influenced style – using electric piano as well as acoustic, and working with larger arrangements that were perfect for his flowing keyboard style. The set's got some really great tracks, a number of which were produced and arranged by Richard Evans – titles that include "Black Cow", "Soul Girl", "Dynamo", "Genetic Walk", "Sawhililand", and "Don't Ask My Neighbors". © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.
