Just Sold Out!

LP, Vinyl record album

❔

The seminal album from Ritchie Valens – with the hits "La Bomba" and "Donna" – plus "Framed", "In A Turkish Town", "We Belong Together", "Come On Let's Go", "Bluebirds Over The Mountain", and "Ooh My Head".  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Light blue label pressing with deep groove. Cover has a half split seams and light aging.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Deuce Coupes

Hotrodder's Choice
Del-Fi, 1963. Very Good
The Deuce Coupes may have a hot-rodder's name – but the sound here is surf instrumental all the way through – that hip, twang-heavy mode that put Del-Fi Records at the top of the heap back in the California scene of the early 60s! There's a nice current of fuzz on the guitar at times ... LP, Vinyl record album

Emitt Rhodes

Emitt Rhodes
Dunhill, 1970. Very Good Gatefold
A really great self-titled set from Emitt Rhodes – a compelling California singer who hardly ever gets his due! Kraftwerk

Man-Machine
Capitol, 1978. Very Good
Man and machine – a perfect summation of the Kraftwerk genius, delivered perfectly on this classic late 70s set! Warner, 1981. Near Mint-
By 1981, the gentlemen Devo had been up to their collective arse in irony since the early 70s, and having made a sizable fortune for the Brothers' Warner with the ultra-ironic "Whip It" the previous year, they took a sharp right turn into cranky sincerity. They did so on a wave of new ... LP, Vinyl record album
Warner, 1979. Near Mint-
Devo's second album didn't scare the bejesus out of 70s rock fans in the way of their agitpop masterpiece debut, and the group's mainstream salad days of "Whip It" were still another year or two away, but nowadays we wouldn't trade Duty Now For The Future for just about any post punk ...
