Suite For Susan Moore & Damion – We Are – One One All In One

LP (Item 66040) Columbia, 1969 — Condition: Very Good
Gatefold
Originally: 9.99
A beautiful late album from Tim Hardin – a full suite of tracks dedicated to wife Susan (aka The Lady Came From Baltimore) and his new son Damion – all done in a style that's far more complicated, ambitious, and personal than before! The work here has a shaky brilliance – as Hardin unsurely expresses his joy and insecurity at the thought of having a family – honest about his own shortcomings and personal problems, but also wonderfully filled with a sense of joy as well. There's a sense of pain and conflict in the work that runs deeper than that in most of Hardin's earlier music for Verve – and the album's a real lost treasure that's worth seeking out. Titles include "Everything Good Become More True", "First Love Song", "Question Of Birth", "Last Sweet Moments", "Magician", "Loneliness She Knows", and "One One The Perfect Sum"  © 1996-2023, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(360 Sound stereo pressing. Cover has some ring and edge wear.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
