(Yellow label stereo pressing with deep groove. Cover has light wear and a small sticker.)
Near Mint - (minus)
Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Here it is – the first Spoonful LP in all its sunny, groovy glory – and the sum is so much more than just a great single! Like the Byrds, the group is built on traditionally structured back-porch melodies. In the case of the Spoonful, jug band influences provide the core rhythmic ... LP, Vinyl record album
The most understated album by the Lovin Spoonful – and possibly their best work ever! It's really a showcase for leader/chief songwriter John Sebastian and proto-country rock guitarist Zal Yanovsky. "Summer In The City" is the one that buttered the group's bread for the next ... LP, Vinyl record album
(Vinyl plays with a short click on the 2nd track on side 2. NOTE – the bottom half of the cover is wavy, with light staining and wear, center split on the bottom seam, cutout hole.)LP, Vinyl record album
Electric jazz meets funky rock – in a set of tunes that takes kind of a Tubular Bells approach to the groove! Brett plays all guitars on the set, and the rest of the instrumentation includes drums, bass, keyboards, and a bit of horns. Side one features the long cut "Interlife", ... LP, Vinyl record album
(Limited tour edition on 180 gram coloured vinyl, in a hardbound booklet cover with slipcase. Inner sleeves have center splits at the bottom seam. Outer case has very light surface wear.)LP, Vinyl record album
A real breakthrough moment for Marianne Faithfull – a singer who'd already been doing some incredible music in the 60s, but who moves here into deeper territory that makes her way more than just a female British singer with a bit of an edge – and really opens up that talent that would ... Solid jamming from Mountain – one of the tightest guitar-based groups of their day, and hard rockers that could serve up a nice dose of soul! Tunes have a great mix of tight rhythms and fierce guitars – a bit dated at times, but with some nice production overall by Felix Pappalardi. ... LP, Vinyl record album
A record that was initially thought by some as a cheap cash-in on the Sgt Peppers concept – but an album that, to us, really helped set The Rolling Stones free to express themselves in so many new and amazing ways! There's definitely a bit of the hippie vibe to the set at times – such ... LP, Vinyl record album
