What a trippy guy! Shel's best known as the illustrator of kid's books and singers of kid's songs – but he's also got kind of a stone-out hipster side to his work, as you'll hear on this obscure LP. The record's an odd mix of folk, blues, and singer-songwriter modes – Shel silly and cynical all the way through, changing mood and tone drastically from track to track.
