This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play
without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove,
you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not,
then you may return it for a full refund.
With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of
surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be
clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we
handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted
otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so
look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.
Moody and tripped out soul sounds from Massive Attack – to say Heligoland is their strongest record in years would be a misnomer, as it's their only album in a number of years, but it's a strong and effective one! From spare melodies that slowly build in mood and volume, to sputtering ... CD
A pretty nice compilation – one that sounds a lot better than its subtitle! Forget the "flavas" and "hip hop" the set mentions – because this is more of an evocative assortment of recent numbers from points south – the kind of criss-crossing cultural tracks ... CD

Thievery Corporation are back after a long hiatus – and they've returned to the fold with a host of surprising guest stars! The set's got a really wide range of grooves – as one might expect when the group's working with artists that include David Byrne, Perry Farrell, and The Flaming ... CD
"Melt" is a great way to describe the sound of this one – as Brazilian rhythms dissolve into modern production, creating a wealth of incredible music all inspired by the sunny sounds of the post-bossa era! The selection includes tracks from the current Brazilian scene, plus plenty ... CD
Tremendous grooves from the earliest (and best) years of the acid jazz scene – all recorded at a time when London was exploding with sounds from the 60s and 70s, and turning out some of the hippest music on the planet! Although the term "acid jazz" was soon mishandled and mis-manage ... CD
UFO's second album – and a great batch of tracks that mix together classic jazz samples, modern beats, odd little snippets from other sources, and wrap the whole thing up with the wit of the Japanese scene! The record's got the same pastiche style as other Japanese combos from the time ... CD
