Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
If this is reality, lead us onward – as the set is a mindblowing batch of trippy psych-funk from The Heliocentrics – even more offbeat and experimental than before, in ways that make the combo the true heirs to the legacy first begun by Stark Reality! The album's definitely funky at ... CD
A great little set from Alan Evans – better known as the drummer in Soulive, but equally smoking out here on his own! Alan doesn't always record on his own, but when he does, it's usually a great thing – and this cooking little album definitely lives up to the funky tightness we'd ... CD
An overlooked chapter in the Mr Chop canon! Coz Littler, aka Mr. Chop, has been a beacon in the future groove cosmos for years now – filtering his love for spacey 70s psych funk through classic-era hip hop beatcraft in a distinctive, irresistible way – and he's uber-prolific, too. In ... CD
Lance Ferguson has given us plenty of great work over the years – from his work in The Bamboos, to all his many other projects – yet as much as we've liked all of those, this one might actually be one of his best – a fantastic reworking of rare groove tracks from the 70s, all with ... CD
Cinematic funky soul instrumentals from the El Michels Affair – the loose NYC collective's long awaited full length nod to the Wu Tang Clan! The crew brings their tried and true slow rolling and dirty funk to their interpretations of classic Wu Tang tracks, with some straight up beautiful ... CD
There's kind of a dodgy cover on this one that might make you think the set's the lowest ebb of James' 90s career, but the record's actually a pretty decent live set – recorded in 1999, with tracks that mostly hearken back to the jazzed up glory of the early days. James wails on Hammond on a ... CD
The first-ever CD issue of a range of material from this ultra-hip group – all tracks that originally appeared on vinyl-only releases, now making their CD debut in an overstuffed collection that features 24 tracks in all! The vibe here is great – that Karl Hector & The Malcouns mix ... CD
A fierce full album of grooves from Nashville's funky Dynamites – most of which features vocals from 60s soul legend Charles Walker! The Dynamites have a groove that's quite classic – tight rhythms, topped by razor-sharp horns – Tennessee soul with distinct late 60s overtones, ... CD
A very cool little combo – one who play funky jazz, but add in a globe's worth of influences – with an especially strong ear for the exotic reed sounds of Ethiopia in the 70s! The album's got warm keyboards at the core, driven by live drums and percussion – then topped with ... CD
A fantastic classic from Genesis – a record that really has the early version of the group at their height – able to spin out longform instrumental passages that would go onto shape a generation of proggers who tried to copy their sound – amidst lyrical moments that really have ... CD
