All Of Your Love/Somebody Call My Baby

7-inch (Item 481796) Big Boy, 1989 — Condition: Near Mint-
...

Near Mint - (minus)

  • Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
  • Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
  • One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so. These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play, but might detract from the looks.
  • May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record. (Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
  • May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
  • Possible minor surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Sakura Chan/Seabass
Funk Night, 2019. Near Mint-
A beautiful cut, with a nicely deep feel – funky drums at the core, but some great slow-moving Fender Rhodes, and a flute solo that's completely wonderful – a bit blue, and nice and raspy – almost like old school Roland Kirk or Harold McNair! "Seabass" is mighty nice ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
Scenario (UK), 2004. Near Mint-
Thumping underground soul from Shawn Lee! "So Much Trouble" is a moody little track with a deep, bassy thump propelling the track along with some wickedly dense drumming and bouncy production touches that make is thick and funky as it is lean! The Sparo remix keeps everything that's ... 7-inch, Vinyl record

Stars Of Liberty/Eye Q

Power To The People/I'm Not Selfish
Now Again, Early 70s. Near Mint-
Massive funk from Stars Of Liberty – a tune that's got this great snapping drum, matched by a fast-riffing guitar – while the righteous vocals move at a slightly different pace, to a really cool gimmick on the chorus! Eye Q serves up "I'm Not Selfish" on the flipside – ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
Colemine, 2013. Near Mint-
A wicked slow funk number from Fat Night – haunting, moody, and very very compelling! There's a slightly trippy feel to the track – maybe from the heavy echo used on the vocals – but the core groove of stepping guitar and drums almost takes us back to the best mellow harmony cuts ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
