This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A very laidback little album from Teddi King – a set that mostly features Teddi singing with only piano accompaniment from Dave McKenna, and which also features a few solo tracks by Dave as well! Teddi's voice has changed a bit since the 50s – but in a good way, with a bit more human ... LP, Vinyl record album

One of Tony Bennett's most fantastic albums from the 60s, and a record that features some nice jazzy arrangements that push past the usual heavy studio ones. The album includes a great reading of "Samba Do Aviao" with backing by Carlos Lyra, Helcio Milito, and Al Cohn – plus "F ... LP, Vinyl record album
Key early work by Abbey – no so much the "blue" album you'd guess from the title, but a session that's filled with the kind of anger and emotion that makes us love her so much when she's this good! The group here is very hip – an ensemble brought to the date by her then-partne ... LP, Vinyl record album
Something of an addition to the Verve "songbook" mode of the 50s – but it's also one that's a lot more dynamic than the others, thanks to some very jazzy arrangements from Billy May! The groove here is very upbeat and jazzy – hard-swinging in the manner that May forged with ... LP, Vinyl record album
Hip vocalist Bobby Troup pays tribute to another fairly hip LA songwriter – the great Johnny Mercer, the man who helped to build Capitol Records in the late 40s! Mercer's tunes really helped pave the way for some of Troup's own writing – and Bobby's cool, laidback style makes the ... LP, Vinyl record album
The Hi Fi in the title might imply that there's a bit more going on here arrangement-wise than on some of Dinah's other albums – but the scoring by Hal Mooney is still pretty straight, in a sophisticated jazzy mode that works best with the vocals, and which never overwhelms the singing for ... One of our favorite albums by the team of Jackie & Roy – a really special little set that features small combo backing, great tunes, and some of the best vocals of their early career! The album features Roy playing piano in a quartet with Barry Galbraith on guitar, Milt Hinton on bass, ... LP, Vinyl record album
French pop meets LA production – and the result is some of the best work ever recorded by A&M Records – a gently groovy, slightly sexy sound that really helped define the label in its early years! A bold early statement from a young John Coltrane – and an album that really has him expanding his talents as a tenor soloist!
