These days, pianist Billy Tipton is somewhat of a legend – largely because "he", was actually a "she", masquerading as a man, and making a name for her/himself as a moody interpreter of standards. Billy's talents on the keys are certainly not enough to get him remembered on his/her own – but the album's a nice one to have if you're curious about the myth, especially because it's got the famous cover image of the masculine Billy, sitting at the piano surrounded by two busty girls!
