(Mid 70s issue, still sealed with a cutout hole. Shrinkwrap has light wear.)
Sealed
This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

A beautiful late chapter in the jazz journey of Rahsaan Roland Kirk – and an album of subtle genius that's really opened up to us over the years! The setting here isn't as "hit you over the head" as on some of Kirk's Atlantic Records – because at one level, the tunes are ... LP, Vinyl record album

One of the best of Donald Byrd's early Blue Note albums – a sparkling set of hardbop tunes with a really souful edge! 2 LP set of tracks from Roland's best moments over the Atlantic years. Included within are many hard to find cuts from albums that we almost never see any more. Titles include "Volunteered Slavery", "Black & Crazy Blues", "Rahsaanica", "Ninth Ghost", ... LP, Vinyl record album
A great meeting of soulful talents – the Hammond of Johnny Hammond Smith, and the vocals of Byrdie Green – an excellent singer who's maybe best known for some Northern Soul singles! Here, Byrdie brings a hip vibe to the record – excellent vocals that are a perfect match for ... LP, Vinyl record album
A record that's a lot more jazz than you'd guess from the title – a seminal set from the mighty Mel Brown! The "blues" here are hardly the familiar kind – and instead, the album really stresses the more soul-based sound of Mel Brown's work – thanks to some very groovy ... LP, Vinyl record album
An incredible avant moment from the early years of ECM Records – a showcase for the strong improvisational talent of bassist Dave Holland, here playing cello – and a set that really exposed the guitar genius of Derek Bailey to the world at large!
