Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

The incredible second album from saxophonist Frank Strozier – recorded for Vee Jay records after his initial debut, but for some reason never issued at the time! Strozier was really hitting on all burners at this point – fusing the Memphis soul of his roots with the soulful hardbop he ... CD
Way more than just a bop-heavy set – a landmark record that shows a side of the Chicago scene that hardly ever made it on record! In the years after Charlie Parker passed away, tributes to his greatness were a very common thing in local jazz scenes across the US. This is a prime example of ... CD
A real back-to-basics album from Arturo O'Farrill, but one that maybe marks a strong step forward too – as Arturo is recording here for Blue Note in a style that mixes familiar piano trio modes with some of the Latin-style rhythms you might expect – not straight Latin jazz piano by any ... CD
Fantastic work from the Cannonball Adderley Quintet – one of their greatest performances from the seminal early 60s years! The band at this time includes Cannon on alto, Nat on cornet, Victor Feldman on piano, Sam Jones on bass, and Louis Hayes on drums – and although Feldman's not as ... CD
Incredible work from John Coltrane's Newport Jazz Festival sets from 1963 and 1965 – totally amazing work from Trane and his superior quartet of McCoy Tyner on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass, and Elvin Jones on drums – nearly 1 1/2 hours of essential avant garde! This CD features a trio ... CD
A week's worth of work by Wynton Marsalis – tracks recorded over 7 different nights at the Village Vanguard, featuring the star trumpeter working with three different bands! Most of the lineup here is relatively similar – Wes Anderson on alto and soprano, and Wycliffe Gordon on ... CD
