This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

Smooth Sailing from Maysa Leak – a wonderful little record that captures all the warmth and soul of her work with Incognito, yet which also steps forward strongly in her own voice as well! The album's got a bit of Incognito help from Bluey and crew, but a number of tracks make a nice change ... CD

Back in the 70s, legendary Chicago soul producer Clarence Johnson handled killer groups like Heaven & Earth, The Lovelites, and others – and now he's returned in the 90s with a brand-new modern soul combo called C-nario. The band has a style that mixes classic soul with modern production ... CD
The second album from Benny Sings – quickly emerging as one of the best pop crooners of the 21st Century! The set's even greater that Benny's debut – recorded live in Amsterdam, with a full group arranged into tight formation – and a sound that's steeped in 70s crossover pop ... CD
A timeless mix of heart tuggingly intimate strings and beautiful vocals by Esperanza Spalding – a set that feels deep down close to the heart, and in turns, quite soaring – all the while wonderful! The aspects we loved so dearly on Esperanza's previous albums are also done here – ... CD
Heavy sounds from Anthony Hamilton – a record that's still got all the warm flourish we love from his other work, but which also seems to have a bit more of a bass on the bottom! The production is by Mark Batson on most tracks – and the team of Salaam Remi and James Poyser on a few ... CD
An incredible album from Amy Winehouse – even way better than her fantastic debut! Although a contemporary soul album, this one's steeped in tradition – soul styles that run the gamut from Detroit down to Kingston, and which are carried off here with a rougher, sharper-edged sound than ... CD
Standout early work from Swing Out Sister – the group's second album, and one of their best from the time! The team of Andrew Connell and Corinne Drewery had well proven their ability to craft a jazz-tinged tune on the first album – and on this set, they take off in a style that's a ... CD
Braxton Cook is a singer, but he's often one who speaks first with his alto sax – which he blows in this wonderfully sharp way – often with cascading notes that set this beautiful mood for his tunes! The music is mostly electric – filled with Fender Rhodes, bass, and guitar ... CD
A rare session from Astrud Gilberto – recorded in the early 80s as a collaboration with Japanese trombonist Shigeharu Mukai! The set's got a dreamy bossa feel throughout – with arrangements that are a bit modern, but still quite jazzy – and very much in the mode that brings out ... CD
