This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A cool sextet session from Benny Goodman – one that recalls the best fluid groove of his late 30s small combo sides! The setting here is live, but the recording features excellent sound – all to capture a mix of Benny's clarinet, Zoot Sims' tenor, Bill McGuffie's piano, Bucky ... LP, Vinyl record album

Not as great as some of Keating's other work – which can be wonderfully goofy, or arranged in a hip swinging manner that pushes it way past the usual big band groove. Still, the record's not bad, and has some pretty tight playing by a well-selected group of Brit Easy players. Titles include ... LP, Vinyl record album

Includes recordings with a thirteen-piece combo led by Don Rendell and featuring Jimmy Skidmore; with Lyttleton's Paseo Band; and in a smaller group with Johnny Picard on trombone, Kathleen Stobart on tenor, Tony Coe on alto, Ian Armit on piano, Brian Brocklehurst on bass, and Eddie Taylor on ... The lyrical genius at his best – an early record from pianist Horace Silver, but one that already has him really defining that special sort of sound that made him really stand out from his contemporaries! The difference here is hard to put in words – but there's a careful ear for an ... LP, Vinyl record album
Seminal 70s work from one of the most righteous jazz musicians ever! On this set, Alice Coltrane moves past the rawer spiritual sound of her Impulse albums – working with a more focused vision and an approach to jazz that takes her way past the identity of just being "Mrs Coltrane" ... One of the grooviest 60s live albums from Herbie Mann – done in a style that's a bit different from the rest! Herbie cut many successful live albums for Atlantic, most of them with a hard wailing soul jazz groove – but this one's a nice batch of mellower bossa tunes, played at the ... LP, Vinyl record album
