An all-star session put together by Verve in 1958 – one that features a septet of some of the label's biggest giants in jazz at the time! Way more than just a simple collection of famous cool jazz numbers – and instead, an ultra-hip set that shows the evolution of the original sound over the space of decades and the stretch of two continents!
