✨✧ Todd TerryBango (To The Batmobile) (club bang, bonus bang)/Back To The Beat ... 12-inch
Fresh, 1988. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
A nice early groover from Todd Terry – a bit more gimmicky than some of his other work of the time (released during the summer of the first Batman movie), but with some great splashy beats and that wall of sound Terry approach! 12-inch, Vinyl record

✨✧ Just-IcePut That Record Back On (voc, inst)/Latoya/That Girl Is A Slut ... 12-inch
Fresh, 1986. Very Good+ ... Out Of Stock
This is Just-Ice's first single, with a track that didn't make it to the LP, plus the original version of "Latoya" that's better than the LP version. "Put That Record Back On" is the cut here, with classic Mantronix production, from around the same time as his other big singles. And all the cuts include a whole lot of nice beat boxing from the Human DMX. 12-inch, Vinyl record
(Original pressing in a Fresh sleeve. Labels have a name in pen.)

✨✧ Soul II SoulBack To Life (12 inch mix, LP, acapella intro version, jam & the groove mix, bonus beats) ... 12-inch
Virgin, 1989. Very Good+ (pic cover)... Out Of Stock
Seminal stuff from one of the pivotal soul bands of the past 20 years! This 12" single contains a heck of a lot more of the song than you got on the album, including long mixes, acapella intros, and some very tasty bonus beats, just ripe for mixing! 12-inch, Vinyl record
(Cover has light wear, a large index label with BPM at the top right, and is lightly bent at the edges.)

FatbackGirl Is Fine (So Fine) (long, dance version) ... 12-inch
Spring, 1983. Near Mint- ... $4.99
A great little electro groover from Fatback – less funky and more beat-heavy than the group's other work – but a great crossover tune with a heck of a pretty hook! Dance version has a nice mix by Francois K, too! 12-inch, Vinyl record
(In a Polygram sleeve.)

✨✧ Instant FunkI Got My Mind Made Up/Crying ... 12-inch
Salsoul, 1978. Very Good ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
One of the greatest tracks ever from this legendary Philly backing combo – a sweetly tippling bit of disco that really soars on this 12" single! The track builds with a full feel, then snaps into some clapping rhythms and funky guitar that show that that the group more than live up to their name! "Crying" is pretty great too – stretched out more with really rhythmic beats, and a warm Paradise groove that runs for over 9 minutes long! 12-inch, Vinyl record
(In a Salsoul sleeve.)

✨✧ JellybeanMexican (dance mix, acapella, funhouse mix, short)/Hip Hop Bean Bop (bonus beats) ... 12-inch
EMI, 1984. Very Good (pic cover)... Out Of Stock
An old school classic from way back – a reworking of the famous groover by Babe Ruth, opened up nicely for the 80s dancefloor by Jellybean! Heck, the cut almost makes you forgive him his silly name! 12-inch, Vinyl record
(Cover has a hype sticker, some edge wear, small peel in the lower corner on the front & back.)

✨✧ SadeParadise (ext mix, extra beats)/Super Bien Total (ext mix) ... 12-inch
Epic, 1988. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
A long mix of Sade's excellent groover "Paradise" – a warmly bubbling tune that features her great vocals cascading over the top of gently percolating rhythms! There's a definite dancefloor groove here – but one that's still laidback and mellow – maybe not as jazzy as before, but still better than most of what was going on in the mainstream at the time! "Super Bien Total" is plenty jazzy, though – almost a bit of R&B fusion at times – with great keyboards and sax, all grooving together in instrumental interplay! 12-inch, Vinyl record
(US reissue in a plain black sleeve.)

✨✧ EllipsisPeople/Gregory Moore ... 12-inch
Soul Spectrum/Jazzman (UK), 1976. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
A great bit of southern funk from the 70s – upbeat, grooving, and with a really righteous sound! "People" is one of those cuts that just grabs you right away – a unique-sounding tune that's all the way out there – tightly riffing instrumentation topped with some slightly raspy vocals – all with an offbeat charm that almost reminds us of the first time we heard the 70s classics by Milton Wright! "Gregory Moore" is great too – a bit more laidback, and almost with the same horn patterns as the first track, but slower. 12-inch, Vinyl record
(2008 issue.)

✨✧ VariousJazz Bizniz 3 Reworks EP ... 12-inch
Counterpoint (UK), 1970s/2003. Very Good+ ... Out Of Stock
Some of the best remixes we've heard so far from the Counterpoint crew – a serving of tracks from the excellent Jazz Bizniz 3 album! The single kicks off with "Everything", a spiritual groover by Dwayne Morgan, taken into pumped up club territory after a snipped of the original introduction – but done so in a way that really changes up mood, space, and time within the track. After that, Beatfanatic reworks "Suite Guaracho (part 2)" by Tata Vasquez – taking the tune's original Latin grooves and folding them back on themselves with some very tight percussion breaks and riffs! Closing out the set is an unmixed number – "Cha Cha Be Bop" by Guapacha, a great bit of Latin jazz with some cool scatting vocals! 12-inch, Vinyl record
(In a stickered sleeve, with some ring and edge wear, and some price sticker remnants. Labels have side notations in pen.)
