The feel here is lush – both in the fullness of Errico's vocals, and in the way Michel sets the tunes up – in a mode that's very different than some of the more laidback interpretations of his work – and at a level that reminds us that, more than most, Legrand has a fantastic sense of instrumental color when given the right tools. Melissa more than matches that energy, with very personal interpretations of Legrand tunes both famous and lesser-known – a set list that includes "Dis Moi", "In Another Life", "I Will Wait For You", "His Eyes Her Eyes", "What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life", "Celui La", "Once Upon A Summertime", "Maybe Someone Dreamed Us", and "How Do You Keep The Music Playing".
