(Mono pressing in a flip-back cover, with light wear, small tear at the opening, some splitting at the bottom right corner, center split in the spine, and ink stamps in back. Labels have large side notations in marker and ink stamp.)
A fantastic legacy of music from the UK scene – even though it's a pretty darn secret one as well! The Electric Banana were a very unique studio group – a combo who featured Phil May and Dick Taylor of the Pretty Things, right at a time when that group were at the height of their fame – working as a faceless studio combo with other musicians for the DeWolfe Sound Library label – all to create these tight, short rock tracks that would later end up getting used in film soundtracks and TV programs all through the 70s! This album features half vocal tracks, half instrumental – both the same tunes, but with vocals stripped out on side two. (Rock, Sound Library)LP, Vinyl record album
(Cover has light tape traces on the edges, and some stamps and light wear on back. Label has some marker – vinyl is nice!)

Peter Fenn —
Awayday ... LP Hudson (UK), 1982. Very Good ...
Out Of Stock
Produced by James deWolfe. LP, Vinyl record album
(Cover has edge & ring wear, ink stamp, marker. Labels have marker.)
A great British sound library gem – with some key funky tracks, and a few more sprightly numbers! Most are in a bigger ensemble mode, but with fuzzy guitar – and there's a bit of electronics on one number too. LP, Vinyl record album
(Vinyl is nice and clean. Lable has a bit of marker – and cover has a small bit of tape traces on the seams – but very small.)

Johnny Hawksworth Sound —
Fairytale ... LP Music De Wolfe (UK), 1976. Very Good ...
Out Of Stock
... LP, Vinyl record album
(Cover has edge wear with masking tape remnant, center splits, some wear & aging, ink stamps & pen. Labels have marker.)
A funky treasure from the glory days of the De Wolfe sound library – and one of the rarer titles on the label too! LP, Vinyl record album
(Vinyl is nice and clean. Cover has masking tape on one edge, and in a corner – plus light wear and one bumped corner. Label has a stamp, as does back cover.)
A gem from that time when the UK sound library scene was dabbling a bit with rockish influences! The mighty Johnny Hawksworth did half the cuts here, along with Peter Reno – and side one features vocal numbers, while side two features instrumentals! LP, Vinyl record album
(Back cover has a few stamps. And cover has some light wear – but overall this is a really great copy.)
(Cover has lightly bent panels, with some ring and edge wear, light surface scrapes, and a DeWolfe Music Library stamp, large index label with number in marker, and some notes in back.)
Groovy 60s London arrangements from Reg Tilsley – some nice and jazzy, some with larger orchestrations. Side two has a lot of nice swingers! LP, Vinyl record album
(Cover has a stamp on the back, but is great on the front. Label has a bit of marker.)
(Cover has some ring and edge wear, lightly bent sides and corners, and a DeWolfe Music Library sticker and index labels with a number in marker in back.)

Luis Vecchio —
Afro Rock ... LP De Wolfe (UK), 1971. Very Good+ ...
Out Of Stock
A totally killer sound library set – every bit as funky as others that have been issued under the Afro Rock title – but a lot more obscure! The group here has wicked bass and plenty of percussion next to the drums – and the top of the sound also has some horn work that underscores more contemporary soul touches – as the whole thing holds together like some of the best Afro-inspired work on the London scene at the time, with maybe some keyboard touches that feel like they're lifted out of the Bay Area or East LA! The whole thing is a wonderfully rhythmic, totally funky party – and titles include "Facade", "Renegade", "Megaton", "Boss", "Nsambei", "Cult", "Green Hell", and "Waboco". LP, Vinyl record album
(Original pressing! Cover has some light wear, tape traces on the spine which is also split a bit, and back has some stamps. Label has a bit of marker – vinyl is nice!)
(Cover has edge wear with split spine & bottom seam, some pen & ink stamps on the back cover. Labels have marker and ink stamps.)

Roger Webb Sound with Barbara Moore —
Vocal Patterns ... LP De Wolfe (UK), 1971. Very Good ...
Out Of Stock
One of the coolest records ever from the legendary De Wolfe sound library in the UK – a set that's great not only for the work of Brit maestro Roger Webb, but also for the vocals delivered by Barbara Moore – a legendary session singer with a hell of a jazzy touch! Webb's charts are always full of life and color, and showcase his own roots in jazz – served up here with all sorts of fast-stepping rhythms that really let the vocals of Moore take off in wonderful ways – always without lyrics, as Barbara has this way of singing wordlessly that makes her voice act like another instrument next to the horns and keyboards in the arrangements. Wonderful throughout – with titles that include "Dreamy", "Play Girl", "Autumn Aria", "Up West", "Think Twice", "Flipper", "Sandy", "Gentle Soul", and "Sounds Easy". LP, Vinyl record album
(Original pressing! Cover has two stamps and light pen on back – plus very light tape traces on bottom seam, but looks nice overall. Label has some marker – vinyl is nice and clean.)
(Cover has some surface wear and aging, wide masking tape holding the top seam and spine, tape remnants and splitting at the bottom seam, heavily bent at the right side, and a DeWolfe sticker, some notes in pen, and a small piece of paper in back.)
Music by Peter Reno & Jack Trombey, Derek Laren, Spencer Nakin, Lawrence Wiffin, Reg Tilsey, Maj JH Howe, Anthony Mawer, and more. LP, Vinyl record album
(Laminated, flipback cover has edge wear with masking tape remnant, with ink stamps, pen, & aging on the back. Labels have marker.)

Rob Franken Electrification —
Don't Stop ... LP 678 Records (Netherlands), 1974. Near Mint- ...
Out Of Stock
Fender Rhodes and vibes – a combination that always sounds fantastic, but which maybe sounds especially great here in a rare 70s session from Dutch keyboard legend Rob Franken! Rob's usually fantastic, no matter what the setting – but here, he's working on a set of spacious grooves that get plenty of great tones and colors from the vibes of Wolfgang Schulter – who works alongside Rob in a groove that's right up there with some of the best MPS funky electric jazz from the early 70s! About half the tracks on the set were written by German pianist Michael Naura – who himself was also doing some great Fender Rhodes work in the 70s – and titles include "Call", "Samba For Sander", "Song For Josef", "Barracuda", "Brown Out", "Concensus", and "Serenade For Myself". LP, Vinyl record album
Patchwork (Frank McDonald & Chris Rae) —
Mean & Dirty ... LP De Wolfe (UK), 1978. Very Good+ ...
Out Of Stock
A killer set from the legendary De Wolfe sound library of the 70s – a record that's got all the badass cop/crime vibe you'd expect from its shooting gallery target on the cover! The tracks are nice and lean – cop show funk, but without fuller orchestrations – so that you can really concentrate on the funky drums, basslines, guitar riffs, and keyboard parts – plus some occasional moogy moments that spice things up in a mighty nice way! The whole thing's great – maybe as strong as any of the classic crime soundtracks of the 70s – and the set features 20 titles that include "Flying Squad", "Bank Job", "Slow Fuse", "Moving Target", "Dragster", "Night Moves", "Mind's Eye", "Smash & Grab", "Fast Mover", "Prowler", "Route 67", and "Easy Drive". LP, Vinyl record album
