✨✧ Siouxsie & The BansheesTinderbox (with bonus tracks) ... CD
Polydor (Germany), 1986. Used ... Out Of Stock
A pivotal album from Siouxie & The Banshees – maybe the first record they issued during a time when the artists they inspired started to break into the mainstream – which also maybe helped the group find a crossover fame they might never have expected at the start of the decade! Rhythms are maybe up a bit from before, songs slightly more tuneful, yet still crafted with that great blend of fuzzy guitar and Siouxie's incredible vocals – still the group's strongest calling card, and way better than some of the lesser acts of the time. Titles include the mini-hit "Cities In Dust" – plus "Candyman", "Cannons", "Party's Fall", "Lands End", "92 Degrees", and "The Sweetest Chill". Bonus tracks include "The Quarterdrawing Of The Dog", "An Execution", "Lullaby", "Umbrella", and an extended version of "Cities In Dust". CD

✨✧ Talk TalkParty's Over (white vinyl pressing) ... LP
Parlophone, 1982. New Copy (reissue)... Out Of Stock
The debut album of Talk Talk, and a set that might have seemed to be just another bit of Brit electro pop at the time – yet which has gone on to be the start of a surprisingly great legacy of music! The tunes are certainly catchy, and more upbeat than some of the more introspective work the group would later be known for – but there's no denying that singer Mark Hollis is already really finding a way to set himself apart from the rest – on titles that include "Talk Talk", "It's So Serious", "Today", "Hate", "Mirror Man", "Have You Heard The News", "Another Word", "Candy", and "The Party's Over".
