An instrumental set that's partly in the mode of some of the Japanese work of the 80s, but which also has maybe more dynamically tuneful moments too – tracks balanced between mellower piano/keyboard lines and others that have more pronounced guitar parts and rhythms! There's a lot of warmth to the record, even when the instrumentation is electric – tunes that shimmer and glow in a very nice way, especially at moments when some light, wordless vocals come into play.
