Massively jazzy soul from DonaldByrd – two "love" tunes from the early 80s! "Love Has Come Around" goes in a whole new direction than his earlier Mizzell-styled work – snapping a sweet clapping groove, yet still keeping enough acoustic touches to keep things real – and coming across with the best mix of modes you'd hear in a classic Rodney Franklin track! "Love For Sale" is the Cole Porter tune – but completely remade here in a nicely snapping 80s groove mode! 7-inch, Vinyl record
"Walking In Rhythm" was probably the biggest hit ever for this seminal 70s funk group. The cut's got a hook you'd recognize in a minute, and was played to death on AM Radio. However, we're more partial to "The Baby" – a great little funk track with some nice effects, and some very tasty production by DonaldByrd! 7-inch, Vinyl record
One of our favorite cuts ever from Main Source – the tremendous "Looking At The Front Door", a tune that rides strongly on a great DonaldByrd sample to give it a righteous jazzy groove! Single also includes "Snake Eyes" from the Breaking Atoms LP – and the feel of this limited pic disc 45 is mighty nice! (Hip Hop, Funky 45's)7-inch, Vinyl record
