Michael Snow is a man of many talents – a musician, and maybe most famously a filmmaker – responsible for the structural classic Wavelength, and the early New York Eye & Ear Control – which had a famous improvised jazz score issued on ESP! Yet here, Snow is presented as a photographer – in a set of images that begin in the early 60s, even with ties to his films – and which move into the early 21st Century, showing an uncanny eye, but one that also really changes over time – so that the few dozen photographs in the book are each very striking, but often in a very different way!
