That's a pretty creepy looking kitty on the cover, and the soundtrack's got an equally creepy sound to match – very much in the best 80s horror mode of the maestro Fabio Frizzi! The soundtrack's definitely got the keyboards and fuzzy compressed guitar lines you'd expect – but there's also some nicely expanded modes, too – even with a few jazzy inflections from time to time, but scored in the period instrumental style. The main theme is especially great – with this nice spacious, almost funky kind of vibe – almost more a 70s cop/crime suspense groove than you'd guess from the date of the film.
