(Stereo pressing, still sealed, with a cutout hole and lightly bumped corners. Cover has a scrape across the top under the shrink. Shrinkwrap has a light square sticker spot.)
Sealed
This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Wonderful work from Love Sculpture – a heavy British trio from the end of the 60s – and one that features a young Dave Edmunds on guitar! There's a slight bluesy undercurrent in Dave's style, but the music also has that tightly compressed sound that would emerge more strongly during ... LP, Vinyl record album
These guys will forever be known for the jazzy grooving title hit – "Vehicle", a brassy driving number that seems as if it's always being used in some sort of car commercial (which must net these guys a lot of royalties!) – but which is usually mistaken by others for being the ... Who are these guys? They're actually pretty great – a jazz rock group with some nice soulful influences, sounding better than you'd expect for such an ensemble. Tracks have a sound that's somewhere in the Blood Sweat & Tears/Chicago vein – but lighter, with more of a west coast ... LP, Vinyl record album
Fetaures original Dion tunes "Lost For Sure", "Sandy", "I Was Born To Cry", "Little Dianne", and "Lovers Who Wander" – plus versions of "The Twist", "Come Go With Me", and "King Without A Queen". LP, Vinyl record album
Searing sounds from 50s rockabilly legend Benny Joy! Benny was hardly a chart-topper in the late 50s – but in decades since, he's earned a strong reputation as one of the most fire-fueled early rockers, thanks to his deft work on guitar, and his unfailing ability to turn out a triple-tempo ... 20 killer singles from the Columbia rockabilly years – a short period, but a great one! Includes cuts from Rose Maddox, Freddie Hart, The Collins Kids, Eddie Zack, Ronnie Self, Sid King & The Five Strings, Johnny Horton, Chuck Murphy, and Bobby Lord! LP, Vinyl record album
