One of the more openly-grooving albums we've heard from Japanese reedman Eiji Kitamura in the 70s – a live performance that has the players working in this relaxed, small combo version of swing! Kitamura plays clarinet, and the group features some especially great tenor from Satoru Oda – who really shines on a long solo during the album's leadoff version of "Lester Leaps In"!
