Raw percussion, brass and party-ready global grooves from Brooklyn combo Red Baraat! Eclecticism is a big part of the picture here – with diverse strains of styles from around the world – with a bit of an emphasis on Eastern percussive funk, thanks to the dhol drum being such a key instrument for the group. There's a nicely sprawling vibe overall, though – and a healthy bit of brass band funk at the core! There's some vocals here and there, but it's more about the feverish instrumentalism – which includes the aforementioned dhol and other great percussion, saxes, trumpets, trombone and sousaphone. Hotness from the Brooklyn scene! Includes "Halla Bol", "Tenu Lake", "Shruggy Ji", "Burning Instinct
", "Dama Dam Mast Qalandar", "Sialkot", 'Apna Punja Hove", "Privat Dancers", "FIP", Little Betelnut", "Azad Azad", "Mast Kalandar" and Aarthi".
