Cash McCallMore Power To You/I'll Always Love You ... 7-inch
PS Records, Early 70s. Very Good- ... $19.99
Excellent work from this Chicago soul great! "More Power" is one of Cash's best songs – and it's got a hard-rolling funky sound that reminds us a lot of some of Syl Johnson's work on Twinight. Like those cuts, it's got a rolling bass at the bottom – pushing Cash's voice over the top, and keeping the track humming all the way through. "I'll Always Love" is great too – a slower ballad number, but done beautifully, with raw vocals from Cash! 7-inch, Vinyl record

✨✧ Alvin Cash & The CrawlersBarracuda/Do It One More Time ... 7-inch
Mar V Lus, 1965. Very Good+ ... Out Of Stock
Classic hard-grooving Alvin Cash – with that early Mar V Lus sound that feels like it was recorded at the bottom of a well! Not that that's a problem, though, as the approach makes the single bump and groove right off your turntable! "Barracuda" is a funky funky fishy dance – and the "It" in "One More Time" is "The Twine", which gets grooved over again here! 7-inch, Vinyl record
(Vinyl has a tiny drill hole.)

✨✧ Harvey Scales & The 7 SoundsBroadway Freeze/I Can't Cry No More ... 7-inch
Magic Touch, Early 70s. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Fast and funky from Harvey! "Broadway Freeze" is a sock-soul number that begins with a rolling drum approach and Harvey stating that the band's from Milwaukee – then rolls into a storming groove that's pure Alvin Cash, with Harvey shouting "sockit sockit" along with the group! "Can't Cry" is more of a southern-tinged number – starts slow, then picks up the pace with a groove that's a bit Memphis-y, or almost in a Wicked Pickett mode! 7-inch, Vinyl record
