One of the lesser known singles from this seminal Detroit techno group, with a groove that leans a bit more on the industrial dance side than their earlier electro numbers – with a hard heavy deep bass beat sound. 12-inch, Vinyl record
"Dance To The Drummer's Beat" was real stormer in the South Bronx back in the day, and a great bit of uptempo funk with congas – the break and chorus are both great, and the single's like finding a page in the history of hip hop book! 12-inch, Vinyl record
Two cuts from the Soundbombing II project, complete with instrumentals and acappellas. On "Every Rhyme I Write" by Shabaam Sahdeeq featuring Cocoa Brovaz it's good to hear the Cocoa Bros. over the kind of energetic production (by Nick Wiz) that was missing from their last LP. The more mellow a-side features "On Mission" by Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli & DJ Hi-Tek). 12-inch, Vinyl record
With "Can't Let You Go" by Fabolous, "Hottest Of The Hot" by BG, "In Love Wit Chu" by Da Brat, "I Know What You Want" by Busta Rhymes, and more. 12-inch, Vinyl record
Joe Armon-Jones provides some mighty keyboards here – these great lines on Wurlitzer electric piano that flow out mightily next to skittish live work on bass and drums, and which are augmented by a bit more electronics on the side! The tune's got this flowing, cosmic energy that really showcase the best of the current London mode – completely fresh, but also very much jazz as well! "Aquarius" is on the flipside, and is more processed – both on the vocals and rhythms, but still with some nice keyboard solo moments peppered throughout. 12-inch, Vinyl record
