E Kraz & Breez Evahflowin' feat Chali 2NaHot 2Nite (main, inst, Fire Dept rmx)/Got Rhymes/No Chaser/Change A Comin' ... 12-inch
Velour/Fat Beats, 2005. Near Mint- ... $0.99
A nice little single from E Kraz, aka Eric Krasno, guitarist for Soulive – featuring the mic skills of Breez Evahflowin' and Chali 2na on the funky, funky a-side! "Hot 2Nite" is a straight-up funky party vamp – with extra instrumentation from Soulive fellow Neal Evans on organ, plus some JBs modeled horns, drums and programming! Chali 2Na does his measured, J5 vocal boom on the main version, with E Kraz's official project partner Breez rockin' the remix. The flip has a tighter hip hop feel, with just E Kraz on the beats and Breez on the rhymes. Nice! 12-inch, Vinyl record

New J-LiveHear After ... CD
Penalty, 2005. Used ... Out Of Stock
Another solid set from J-Live! The album kicks off with live funk fueled sound, thanks to the backing of Soulive on the first track, but J does a great job of keeping it tight for the rest of the set – much of which was self-produced with fairly timeless feel, with roots in the brainy NYC approach that stems from the Native Tongues. Other guests include Oddisee, Cvees, Kola Rock and Dwele – but this is J-Live's show all the way. Tracks include "Hear" feat Soulive, "Aaw Yeah", "Fire Water", "Do My Thang" feat Cvees, "Whoever", "Sidewalks", "Audio Visual", "Brooklyn Public Part 1", "Listening" feat Kola Rock, "Coming Home" feat Dwele, "Weather The Storm" and "After".
