Jim SullivanUFO ... LP
Light In The Attic, 1969. New Copy (reissue)... $18.99 29.99
The great lost folk rock album from Jim Sullivan – who himself, literally went lost several years later – a set that's beautiful, yet just loose and ragged enough! It's a bit of a hybrid of folk and country rock, particularly in the acoustic guitars and laidback, warm vocals by Sullivan – but it's also got some Cali warmth – sweet strings and some horns and flute, pairing up with the looser, back porch style at the core quite wonderfully. Some great players from the LA studio scene played on the sessions – including members of the iconic Wrecking Crew – and it sounds like it! UFO came out on the small Monnie label, made hardly a dent, and after another record for the Playboy label, Sullivan disappeared, never to be heard from again in 1975 – lending a bit of a spooky air to the album, but the backstory truly not relevant to the quality – it's excellent, with or without the lore! Includes "Jerome", "Plain As Your Eyes Can See", "Roll Back The Time", "Whistle Stop", "Highways", "UFO", "So Natural", "Johnny" and "Sandman". LP, Vinyl record album

Gary BartzAnother Earth (180 gram pressing) ... LP
Milestone/Vinyl Me Please, 1968. New Copy (reissue)... $27.99 39.99
One of the first albums ever as a leader from the young Gary Bartz – and an instant spiritual jazz classic that showed the world that he was well on his way! Bartz blows alto here, in a setting that's equal parts Impulse and Strata East – a killer group that features Pharoah Sanders on tenor, Charles Tolliver on trumpet, Stanley Cowell on piano, Reggie Workman on bass, and Freddie Waits on drums – some of whom worked with Bartz on the Max Roach classic Members Don't Get Weary – a great introduction to the spirit of this set! Unlike Gary's later records, there's no funk, no vocals, no weird rhythms – just pure spiritual jazz, played to perfection, and filled with a creative vitality that most of the players had lost a few years later. Tracks include the album-side "Another Earth", plus "Dark Nebula", "UFO", and "Perihelion & Aphelion". LP, Vinyl record album

Jimmy CaravanHey Jude ... LP
Vault, Late 60s. Very Good+ ... $11.99
One of two rare albums recorded by organist Jimmy Caravan in the 60s – a really great talent on the Hammond, and a player with a really clean, lean, and groovy sound! Jimmy's style here borrows a lot from the Capitol jazz scene of players like Howard Roberts or Henry Cain – an approach to organ jazz that's a bit more stripped down and less gritty than that of labels like Blue Note or Prestige – and one that uses the cleaner sound to bring even more rhythm into the mix, letting the organ leap around the tunes in a groovily playful way! Caravan's got a great sound throughout, and although the other players aren't listed, the album's got a nice small combo sound all the way through. Titles include "Off A Brass Monkey", "Equinox", "UFO", "Cyclops", and a groovy version of "Hey Jude". LP, Vinyl record album

EABSDiscipline Of Sun Ra ... CD
Astigmatic (Poland), 2020. New Copy ... $14.99 16.99
A really great take on the music of Sun Ra – served up by a group from the contemporary Polish scene – one who clearly have a strong influence from Ra and his Arkestra, but who also take the sounds in really great directions of their own! The group is maybe a bit heavier on keyboard work than some of the classic recordings – with piano, Fender Rhodes, synths, and moog playing a strong role throughout – amidst a duo of horns from Jakub Kurek on trumpet and Olaf Wegier on soprano, alto, and tenor – providing a leaner version of the sound that you'd hear from the Arkestra, but one that's also got a lot of focus and energy too. The record intersperses spoken bits by Ra in a really great way – and titles include versions of "Interstellar Low Ways", "Neo Project 2", "Trying To Put The Blame On Me", "UFO", "The Lady With The Golden Stockings", and "Brainville". One of the coolest collections of work we've ever heard from the great Mort Garson – a selection of tracks that were done during the same years as his famous album releases in the world of moog and analog synth, but done for much more obscure sources that include television, film, and other avenues of expression! The title's a reference to a cut here that was used during a 1969 broadcast of the moon landing – but there's so much more here too, and as always with Garson, there's a blend of electronic experimentation and tunefulness that make the whole thing pretty darn groovy – and not just a trip on the farther reaches of experimental electronics. Titles include "Moon Journey", "Zoos Of The World", "Music For Advertising #8", "Love Is A Garden", "The D-Bee's Cat Boogie", "Black Eye", "Western Dragon (part 3)", "Captain DJ Disco UFO", and "The Big Game Hunters See The Cheetah". ParliamentMothership Connection ... LP
Casablanca, 1975. Near Mint- ... $69.99
Here's where it all happens – the huge culmination of all the years of heavy funk and psychedelic soul created by George Clinton and the P-Funk empire – fused into an amazingly tight groove that helped win over much bigger audiences than ever before! The album title and cover are very fitting – as George Clinton launches the mothership, forges his classic space-funk image, and blows the P-Funk empire into an arena-filling mega-star act – all with grooves that are still some of the tightest, sharpest funk you'll ever hear – all these many decades later. The instrumentation is razor-sharp – played by giants like Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker, Bootsy Collins, and Bernie Worrell – and the lyrics still have all the edginess and naughtiness of the earlier years – tied together wonderfully to make a very unified album, and one that's full of classics too! Titles include "Mothership Connection (Star Child)", "Night Of The Thumpasorus Peoples", "P-Funk (Wants To Get Funked Up)", "Handcuffs", "Give Up The Funk (Tear The Roof Off The Sucker)", and "Unfunky Ufo". Jim SullivanJim Sullivan ... LP
Playboy/Light In The Attic, 1972. New Copy Gatefold (reissue)... $12.99 25.98
A fantastic early 70s album from Jim Sullivan – one of the few that he ever gave us before departing the planet, and a set that was one of a handful of albums issued by the Playboy Records imprint! The sound is a lot more rootsy than anything you'd ever hear at Hugh Hefner's mansion, though – very faithful to the spirit of Jim's classic UFO album, but also with these added light arrangements that really open up the lyrics too – in a way that maybe seems to let Sullivan focus even more strongly on his own vocal interpretation of his words, all with a sound that makes the whole thing one of the overlooked singer/songwriter masterpieces of the time. Arrangements are by Jim Hughart, who also plays bass in the core combo – and the songs are Jim Sullivan material of the highest quality – with titles that include "Amos", "Tea Leaves", "Don't Let It Throw You", "Lonesome Picker", "Sandman", "I'll Be Here", and "Plain To See". Undisputed TruthCosmic Truth/Higher Than High ... CD
Gordy/Kent (UK), 1975. New Copy 2CD ... $16.99 24.98
A pair of late Motown albums from Undisputed Truth – both issued here back to back, as they originally appeared for the label! First up is Cosmic Truth – a fantastic 70s album from Undisputed Truth – and the first to fully feature the new version of the lineup, after the Magictones had been recruited to form the second version of the group! The sound here is even funkier and more guitar-based than before – a fully-realized take on the Norman Whitfield modes that had been brewing up since his late 60s work with The Temptations – almost as tripped-out at times as early 70s Funkadelic – as if Undisputed Truth were being put forth as a Detroit challenge to the George Clinton universe! Production and arrangements are great – very far-reaching at times, with some bigger ideas in the mix – although all the tight funky soul elements that always made these guys so great. Titles include "1990", "Squeeze Me Tease Me", "Earthquake Snake", "Spaced Out", "Lil Red Ridin Hood", "Got To Get Me Some Lovin", and the great cut "UFO's". Higher Than High is a great later Motown effort from the Undisputed Truth – working in a groove that's a bit tighter and more upbeat than before, but still plenty darn great! Norman Whitfield is still very firmly in charge of the group's sound on the record – arranging, producing, and writing most of the cuts on the album – and he's doing a great job of keeping his sound fresh here – not just sticking in the bass-heavy styles of previous years, and instead moving into some fresher territory that has the group continuing to grow nicely. In a way, the whole thing's almost a precursor for the grooves to come on Norman's own Whitfield label – a great batch of well-crafted titles that include "Overload", "Higher Than High", "Poontang", "I Saw YOu When You Met Her", "Help Yourself (second version)", "I'm In The Red Zone", "Boogie Bump Boogie", and "Ma". The "moon ride" title here is a great way to think of the music within – as the tracks have a nicely laidback, sometimes spacey sort of sound – with occasional funky nuggets thrown in for good measure! All the work is from the large catalog of the TK Records empire – but most of the work here goes past the obvious hits on the label, and shows that if you really dig down, you'll find some great overlooked gems – served up here in a special vinyl-only set with eight tracks in all – including "Pay The Price" by Stevo, "Moon Ride" by Universal Love, "Don't Stop" by Ish, "Mr UFO" by Wanda Star Williams, "Cosmic Funk" by Mad Dog Fire Department, "Groove Me" by Fern Kinney, "Livin In The Jungle" by John Tropea, and "Get On Down" by King Sporty. ✨✧ Sun RaOn Jupiter ... LP
Saturn, 1979. Very Good+ ... Out Of Stock
Righteous Ra from the end of the 70s – one of the most soulful albums ever by the Sun Ra Arkestra, and a lost treasure that's got some nice funky moments! The vibe here is very much in the Lanquidity/Disco 3000 mode – an extrapolation of styles best known from the Space Is The Place era, tightened up into more of a groove at some points, but also relaxed and more reflective at others. Our favorite track on the set is "UFO", a snapping bit of funk that comes as a real surprise from Sun Ra – and a tune that's got some nicely noisy guitar jamming alongside straighter electric rhythms – all topped off by vocals from the group and some really strong horn work! The tune's a great party funk number that shows the Arkestra at its most joyous – and other tracks include "On Jupiter", which has a great blend of light vocals, spacey moog, and snakey sax – plus the side-long "Seductive Fantasy", a laidback number that unfolds with a really gentle grace. ✨✧ Jim SullivanIf The Evening Were Dawn ... LP
Light In The Attic, 1969. New Copy Gatefold ... Out Of Stock
Never-heard music from the enigmatic Jim Sullivan – the singer/songwriter who disappeared in the New Mexico desert after giving the world his fantastic album UFO! The style here is a bit different than that one, and maybe even more to the heart of Jim's spirit – as the work was all recorded in 1969, with just vocals and guitar – in a way that lets the brilliance of Jim's songcraft come across even more strongly than before – but all without ever feeling like scratchy demo tapes, or half-finished ideas! Instead, the album stands as a much-needed addition to the tiny Sullivan catalog – and really has us wondering what else Jim would have given us, if the shadows of mystery hadn't taken him away. Titles include "Roll Back The Time", "Walls", "Sandman", "Jerome", "Close My Eyes", "What Is My Name", and "So Natural". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Gary BartzLibra/Another Earth ... CD
Milestone, 1967/1968. Used ... Out Of Stock
Early soul jazz brilliance from a young Gary Bartz – music that pre-dates his Ntu Troup, and his work with Larry Mizell! Libra is fantastic early work from Gary – and probably his rarest record ever! The album was cut at a time when the young Bartz was first coming to prominence in the hip late 60s soul jazz group of Max Roach – and Bartz's playing at the time is a perfect model of mid-Coltrane searching with some of the tighter sides of soul jazz that were being forged at labels like Blue Note by players like Hank Mobley or Lee Morgan. The record's a masterpiece of youthful soulful energy – and the group includes Jimmy Owens on trumpet, Richard Davis on bass, Albert Dailey on piano, and Billy Higgins on drums, all players who are perfectly matched to fit Bartz's stridently creative vision. His solos on alto are impeccable – some of the most meaningful we've ever heard on the instrument from the time – and the album's a great one all the way through! Titles include "Air & Fire", "Eastern Blues", "Libra", "Freedom Of The Day", and "Cabin In The Sky". Another Earth is amazing too – one of the first that Gary Bartz ever cut – done during a time when he'd been working with Max Roach and a super-hip group of younger soul jazz players who would go onto shape the sound of the 70s. Bartz leads a group that includes Stanley Cowell, Freddy Waits, Charles Tolliver, Pharoah Sanders, and Reggie Workman – and the music sounds like it was lifted from one of the best albums on Strata East from the 70s. There's no funk, no vocals, no weird rhythms – just pure spiritual jazz, played to perfection, and filled with a creative vitality that most of the players had lost a few years later. Tracks include the album-side "Another Earth", plus "Dark Nebula", "UFO", and "Perihelion & Aphelion". Note: CD omits the track "Disjunction" from Libra – due to space restrictions. CD

Blonde Redhead sound even better here than on their debut – really finding their own voice, especially in the way their stark, simple, yet compelling guitar lines collide with the lead vocals – all somewhat in territory that other groups were exploring at the time, but maybe not with the freshness that set these guys apart from the rest! The set's one that maybe didn't make as big of a splash as it should at the time, but which has become an underground classic over the decades – with titles that include "Young Neil", "10 Feet High", "Jewel", "Bean", "Down Under", "I Am There While You Choke Me", and "UFO". A really cool collection of work from Polish sound library talent Henryk Debich – all 70s material that was designed to evoke the feel of the modern city – including many tracks that were issued in a special cassette series for daily commuters! The material was recorded at the Polish Radio studios, and mixes groovy 70s elements with fuller orchestrations – some disco rhythms at points, mellower soundtrack touches at others – keyboards often stepping out strongly from the fuller arrangements in a way that's a bit like Italian or UK sound library material at the same time! Seminal 80s work from Augustus Pablo – a set that's maybe got a bit more digital and electronic touches in the mix, but which still maintains that fantastic mix of dub and melodica that made the man so unique! The tunes have very righteous rhythms at the core, and a bit of keyboards mixed in with Pablo's lead – and maybe a few spacey touches around the edges that come off in a really great way! Augustus handles all the keyboards, arrangements, and production – and titles include "Twinkling Star", "Creation Blues", "Zion UFO", "Drums To The King", "First World Call", "This Song", "Twenty One Years Later", and "Ancient Harmonies". Playboy/Light In The Attic, 1972. Sealed Gatefold ... Out Of Stock
UFO's second album – and a great batch of tracks that mix together classic jazz samples, modern beats, odd little snippets from other sources, and wrap the whole thing up with the wit of the Japanese scene! The record's got the same pastiche style as other Japanese combos from the time – but has much more of a respect for a classic jazz sound, as you'll hear on the group's great remake of "Stolen Moments", with some killer vocals by Mark Murphy. Vault/Goodtime, Late 1960s. New Copy ... Out Of Stock
CD

Chrysalis, 1975. Very Good+ ... $9.99
A strange little record from the days when the music industry had so much money to throw around, they could make sessions like these! The record is sort of a space rock opera – featuring a huge cast of stars like Cooper, Moon, Hopkins, John Entwistle, Jim Dandy, Eddie Jobson, Elkie Brooks, Justin Hayward, Bill Bruford, and others. The overall feel of the work is a bit like the Rocky Horror Show – a high camp, heavy rock parody of a vintage artform (in this case, the radio space opera.) The musicianship is actually pretty darn strong, even if the overall concept is a bit silly. Tracks include "I'm Flash", "Country Cooking", "What's Happening", "Space Pirates", and "Blast Off". Also includes the great funky break track "Trapped" by Elkie Brooks, which we think was sampled by DJ Shadow! LP, Vinyl record album

A heady second chapter of a legendary funk group that were only around for a few short years, but gave us some great music in the process – presented here with 16 unissued tracks from their years in Los Angeles, including work from members of the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band too! With so much unreleased music, the set's like a fresh discovery of Dyke & The Blazers – adding new takes and versions to the material they recorded in LA before Dyke passed all too quickly – making for a long-overdue addition to their small body of recorded work. Titles unissued stereo mixes of "We Got More Soul (full length)", "Funky Walk (full length)", "The Wobble (full length)", "Let A Woman Be A Woman Let A Man Be A Man", "Funky Bull (full length)", "Booga Jivin", "Stuff (full length)", "Runaway People (full length)", and "Moon" – plus the never-issued "The Walk (part 1 east)", "Do It Together (orig mix)", "WUFO Radio Spot", "Day Is Comin (demo)", and "I'm So All Alone (alt)". And Curtis' vocals are great too – echoing out with a newfound presence that far surpasses the raspy quality of his early work with The Impressions. Funk Night, 2017. New Copy ... $16.99
An incredible record from one of the hippest funky talents around – an artist who can always match the rest of the deep funk scene for sharp-edged instrumentation – but also serve up so many other musical elements as well! Misha Panlov has a way of blending core funky rhythms with lots of sonic surprises – at a level that maybe hasn't been done this well since the sound library generation – especially in the work of artists like Sven Libaek or Alan Hawkshaw! Misha himself plays guitars, organ, synth, bass, and handles lots of effects – and the album also has some might cool vibes, flute, alto, and tenor as well! Yet it's probably the "effects" that make the whole thing come together – weird spacey touches at some points, creating almost an otherworldly funk feel – yet one that never loses its soulful core. Staple Singers/Curtis MayfieldLet's Do It Again ... LP
Curtom, 1975. Very Good+ ... Just Sold Out!
One of our favorite albums ever from The Staple Singers – and that's really saying a lot, as they cut a huge amount of really great records! The album's an unusual collaboration between the group and Curtis Mayfield – one that forges the great vocal styles they were developing at Stax Records with some of the hip soundtrack modes that Curtis had created for Superfly – a blend that's served up perfectly in the best style of Mayfield's legendary Curtom Records! The Staples sound maybe even more righteous in the setting – with great grooves that are hip and funky at times, deeply soulful at others – arranged by Gil Askey and Rich Tufo in the same manner as Curtis' work from the time. Includes the hit title cut "Let's Do It Again", plus other nice ones like "After Sex", "Chase", "Big Mac", and "Funky Love". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ ImpressionsFinally Got Myself Together ... LP
Curtom, 1974. Very Good+ Gatefold ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
A great little album by The Impressions – possibly their best of the 70s! The record's got a very solid harmony soul approach, and Lowrell Simon wrote and produced a number of tracks with Rich Tufo – giving the album the same sweet sexy sound that he brought to his best solo records, and his late work with The Lost Generation! The best example of this is the fantastic soul cut "We Go Back A Ways", a sweet mellow groover in the Leroy Hutson vein, and one of their standout cuts in the post-Curtis days. Ed Townsend worked on a number of other cuts, too, and he brings a real tightness to the songwriting – especially on the cuts "Guess What I Got", "Try Me (One More Time)", and "I'm A Changed Man". Mindblowing funk from one of the greatest combos on the New York scene of the early 70s – Pazant Brothers Eddie & Al, heard here on a host of their greatest recordings! The package goes way past any other Pazant reissues we've seen – and features not only work from the group's famous Vanguard album, but way way more work from a host of early singles for the RCA, GWP, and Vigor labels! The 22 track package is overstuffed with horn-heavy funky grooves that mark the Pazants as one of the hottest things going at the time – snapping on the beat with a tightness learned from their old boss Pucho, but also a willingness to explore brassier grooves in a style that seems to be influenced from the New Orleans and Texas scenes of the late 60s. Producer/arranger Edward Bland had a good hand in much of this work – giving the tracks a gritty, nitty, Perception/Today kind of groove – and a few of the very best numbers on the record even bring in some wicked scratchy guitar into the mix! Includes early and later (Vanguard) versions of "Skunk Juice", "New Orleans", "Toe Jam", "Work Song", and "A Gritty Nitty" – plus "Chick A Boom", "Greasy Greens", "Fever", "Juicy Lucy", "Chicken Scratch", "Fly Vines", and "Back To Beaufort". In fact, we'd say that the album's one that we enjoy putting on more than most – because the songs are less familiar, and not nearly as played-out as some of Curtis' bigger hits. The production style's still the same – with plenty of rumbling funky soul, arranged by Rich Tufo in that classic Curtom mode – and you can't beat Curtis' vocals on songs like "Mother's Son", "Love Me (Right In The Pocket)", "A Prayer", and "Ain't No Love Lost". LP, Vinyl record album
(Original pressing with Bell Sound stamp. Includes insert! Cover has a cutout hole, mild corner bumps.)

✨✧ Natural FourHeaven Right Here On Earth ... LP
Curtom, 1975. Very Good+ ... Out Of Stock
Heavenly soul – and the second album by this fantastic Chicago soul harmony group! The record has stellar production by Leroy Hutson and Rich Tufo, and Hutson wrote a lot of the tracks. One of the best records ever to come out of the Curtom studios, and (dare we say it!) even better than the group's first one. In a market that was dominated by east coast falsetto groups, the Natural Four emerged with kind of a super-dope style that was part Curtom righteousness, part Brunswick vocal harmony, and righteous 70s soul songwriting. And as proof of this style, the album's got loads of great tracks like "While You're Away", "Count on Me", "Heaven Right Here On Earth", and "Love's So Wonderful". LP, Vinyl record album
(Original pressing. Cover has some ring and edge wear, half split top seam, and bumped corners.)

✨✧ Chris SquireFish Out Of Water ... LP
Atlantic, 1975. Very Good Gatefold ... Out Of Stock
One of the greatest Yes albums of the 70s – even if it isn't a Yes album at all! Instead, the set's a stunning solo project from bassist Chris Squire – and a record that shows just how much his talents were to the sound of Yes as a whole! The album's got a vibe that's very much like the best Yes records of the early days – including Fragile, Close To The Edge, and Yes – and the changes and sharpness of the tunes are mindblowing – driven strongly by Squire's bass, and filled with fantastic touches from Bill Bruford on drums, Patrick Moraz on keyboards, and some especially great work on saxes from Mel Collins – who you might know from work with King Crimson. Chris also sings, and sounds pretty darn wonderful – with a bit of processing that expands his voice a bit, almost in Jon Anderson modes. Titles include "Hold Out Your Hand", "You By My Side", "Silently Falling", "Safe", and "Lucky Seven". LP, Vinyl record album
(Includes the printed inner sleeve. Cover has a cutout notch, some edge wear, ghost sticker spot.)

✨✧ StaplesPass It On ... LP
Warner, 1976. Very Good+ ... Out Of Stock
The Staple Singers and Curtis Mayfield – working together here in a very Curtom groove! This great little set picks off where the group's work on the Let's Do It Again soundtrack left off – taking The Staples far past their Memphis sound of the Stax years, into a hipper, more adult kind of mode – one that has plenty of modern soul and light funk touches. Arrangements are by Curtom maestro Rich Tufo, and the album's got some very full backings that seem to urge the group's vocals on even more than ever. Titles include "Making Love", "Pass It On", "Love Me Love Me Love Me", "Sweeter Than The Sweet", "The Real Thing Inside Of Me", and "Precious Precious". LP, Vinyl record album
(Cover has some ringwear and a cutout notch.)

✨✧ YesYes ... LP
Atlantic, 1969. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
The monumental first album from Yes – a group who were already onto something amazing with this set, and would only get better and better in years to come! The members had backgrounds in straighter, more conventional rock acts – but here, together, they unleash work with a wonderfully fresh sense of timing and structure – tunes that are still a bit shorter in comparison to later albums, but already full of the kind of complicated shifts and changes that instantly set Yes apart from the rest! And yet there's also a simple, honest approach too – not complexity for its own sake, as the group never find themselves in blind alleys or dead ends – and maintain this magical mix of elements that soars from track to track. The early lineup here features trademark vocals from Jon Anderson, alongside the bass of Chris Squire, guitars of Peter Banks, organ and piano of Tony Kaye, and drums of Bill Bruford – on titles that include "Harold Land", "Beyond & Before", "I See You", "Looking Around", "Sweetness", "Survival", and "Every Little Thing". LP, Vinyl record album
(Rockefeller label stereo pressing with PR suffix, SD 8243.)

✨✧ YesYes Album ... CD
Atlantic, 1971. Used ... Out Of Stock
This is the moment when Yes really started to take off – working with all the complex changes, sharp twists and turns, and soaring lines that really became their trademark with this classic album! Everything is firmly in place here – the vocals of Jon Anderson are fantastic, the guitars of Steve Howe are impeccable, the keyboards of Tony Kaye explode with color, the drums of Bill Bruford stop and start on a dime, and the basslines of Chris Squire are the motor driving the whole thing forward! The group really explore the stratosphere of their talents – on tunes that include "Yours Is No Disgrace", "Starship Trooper", "I've Seen All Good People", and "Perpetual Change". CD

✨✧ ImpressionsThree The Hard Way ... LP
Curtom, 1974. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Not only a great soundtrack – but one of the best 70s albums by The Impressions! The set was written, arranged, and produced by the Curtom super-team of Rich Tufo and Lowrell Simon – and it's got a super-dope feel that reminds us of the work by Natural Four from the same time, with sweet harmonies over funky backings, in a hip 70s groove that's totally great! All cuts are vocal, but they have plenty of funky moments – and in a way, the whole album's as great as the lead track, which is normally the best one in a blacksploitation soundtrack like this. In other words, if you dig hit soundtrack theme songs like "Across 110th Street" or "Theme from Cleopatra Jones", you'll dig this entire album! Tracks include the great "Having A Ball", plus "Make A Resolution", "Something's Mighty Mighty Wrong", and "Three The Hard Way (Chase & Theme)". LP, Vinyl record album

Inner Knot, 1981. Used CD/DVD ... Out Of Stock
One of those killer records from that 80s moment when Robert Fripp rebooted King Crimson with a lean lineup that had a really fantastic sound – with more guitars and vocals from Adrian Belew, a younger player who really had the same ear as Fripp for unusual sounds from guitars – alongside Tony Levin on bass and Chapman stick, and the great Bill Bruford on drums! Titles include "Elephant Talk", "Frame By Frame", "Thela Hun Ginjeet", and "The Sheltering Sky". DVD includes surround mix, 2011 stereo mix, 30th Anniversary stereo remaster, and bonus tracks. CD
